Tried and obtained multi-million dollar judgment in Buckley v. California Coastal Commission, nullifying the Commission's environmental regulations and establishing that the subject Malibu property was wrongfully taken.
Tried and obtained multi-million dollar jury verdict in Los Angeles Land Co., et al. v. Brunswick Corporation, a case involving unlawful monopolization, interference with prospective economic advantage, and bad faith denial of contract, brought in federal court in Los Angeles .
Tried and obtained multi-million dollar jury verdict in Vollrath v. Sammi Corporation, et al., an antitrust case involving predatory pricing, attempted monopolization, and conspiracy to restrain trade, brought in federal court in Los Angeles. Not retained until first day of trial to try case.
Tried and obtained multi-million dollar jury verdict in Parrish's Cake Decorating Supplies, Inc. v. Pillsbury, et al., a case involving unlawful monopolization, anti-merger, and false patent marking, brought in federal court in Chicago. Therein, further obtained first successfully-enforced private divestiture order (under Section 7 of the Clayton Act).
Tried and obtained defense verdicts in attorney malpractice, franchise termination, construction, real estate, oil and gas, dissolution of partnership, and other commercial cases, including providing Cumis insurance defense.
